After implementing Talend’s solution, Virtusa was able to reduce customer fraud and risk, keeping its clients in compliance with regulatory measures, while also streamlining sales, marketing and other operational functions. As a result, Virtusa created business efficiencies and delivered an enhanced global delivery model for high-value IT client services.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized for our achievements in helping our clients in the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) space by implementing Talend tools and solutions,” said Kumar Ramamurthy, vice president and Global Practice Head at Virtusa. “We will continue to help our clients with large scale transformation projects, and we hope to enhance our visibility and expertise as a Talend partner.”
Virtusa has completed large scale master data management (MDM) and big data implementations to help travel and insurance companies reimagine how they do business. In addition to the out-of-the-box solutions Talend provides, Virtusa has created its own industry solutions and accelerators to help companies create big data management solutions that cater to the new-age digital economy. Utilizing Talend’s open-source commercial platform has allowed Virtusa to implement these solutions in an effective and agile manner.
“We are very proud to recognize Virtusa among our Data Masters Awards’ recipients for the outstanding work they’ve done to put the use of data at the heart of their business in order to become a truly data-driven organization,” said Ashley Stirrup, Chief Marketing Officer, Talend. “Virtusa is also unique in that it’s not only utilizing Talend’s solutions to benefit its own business, but also leveraging its knowledge and experience to help hundreds of enterprise and small-to-medium-sized businesses extract value from data using Talend solutions.”
All Data Master Award recipients, in addition to the recognition, were awarded $1,500 to donate to the charity of their choosing. Virtusa donated its allotment to UNICEF to benefit children’s rights, health, education, and gender equality on a global scale.
